1. Introduction

AI Photo & Screenshot Cleaner (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application. We designed the App with privacy as a core principle — your photos never leave your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not do:

  • We do NOT access, upload, or transmit your photos to any server
  • We do NOT collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number
  • We do NOT track your location
  • We do NOT use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
  • We do NOT share any data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes
  • We do NOT create user profiles or collect behavioral data

3. On-Device Processing

All photo analysis — including duplicate detection, blur detection, and screenshot identification — is performed entirely on your device using Apple's native frameworks (Vision, Photos). No image data, metadata, or analysis results leave your device during this process. The AI processing happens locally using your device's built-in machine learning capabilities.

4. Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library solely to perform the following functions:

  • Scan for duplicate photos
  • Detect blurry or low-quality photos
  • Identify screenshots
  • Find large videos
  • Delete photos and videos you explicitly select for removal

This access is used only within the App. No photo data is stored, cached, copied, or transmitted externally. You can revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings app.

5. Subscription Data

Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous app user ID and subscription status from Apple — no personal information, photos, or device data is shared with RevenueCat. 6. Data Storage

The App stores minimal data locally on your device:

  • Your theme preference (light/dark mode)
  • Scan results (temporarily, during a session)
  • App settings and preferences

This data is stored only on your device and is not synced, backed up to our servers, or transmitted anywhere. This data may be included in your device's standard iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store — for distributing the App and processing payments
  • RevenueCat — for managing subscription status (anonymous app user ID only)

No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used in the App.

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit any personal data or photos, the risk of data breaches is minimized. All processing happens on-device, leveraging Apple's built-in security features and encryption.

10. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. You can delete the App at any time, which will remove all locally stored preferences and temporary data. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used. As described in this policy, we do not collect, sell, or share personal information.

12. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. As we do not collect personal data, these rights are inherently respected. No data processing agreements are necessary as no personal data is processed on our servers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
